The President of the Employers Association for Private Employment Agencies of Nigeria (EAPEAN), Dr. Olufemi Ogunlowo, has extended warm greetings to all Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In a goodwill message released on Saturday, Dr. Ogunlowo congratulated the Muslim Ummah for witnessing yet another celebration of Eid al-Adha, a significant festival that symbolizes sacrifice, faith, and obedience to God.
“On behalf of the Employers Association for Private Employment Agencies of Nigeria (EAPEAN), I warmly felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they mark this year’s Eid al-Adha,” he said.
“This sacred festival reminds us all of the importance of devotion, compassion, and selflessness. It is a time to reflect on our responsibilities to one another, especially in supporting the less privileged in our communities.”
Dr. Ogunlowo urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, especially at a time the country is in dire need of collective commitment to nation-building.
He also used the opportunity to commend the resilience of EAPEAN members for their continuous contributions to the country’s economic development.
“As we celebrate, let us not forget the values of honesty, dedication, and mutual respect that are essential for growth, both in our professional and personal lives,” he added.
Dr. Ogunlowo reaffirmed EAPEAN’s commitment to promoting ethical standards in labour practices and ensuring the welfare and dignity of all workers under its scope.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and blessed Eid celebration.
“May the spirit of Eid bring joy to our hearts, peace to our nation, and progress to our labour sector,” he said.
