A cleric, Bishop Mike Bamidele, has called on the government to prioritize relaxing policies that will benefit ordinary citizens, rather than existing on paper within government agencies.

Bishop Bamidele disclosed on Monday ,while speaking with journalist at the Pentecost Day celebration, Osogbo, Osun State emphasized the need for inclusive policies that positively impact the lives of the masses.

According to “I believe that some of our leaders have good intentions, but we that are down the line need to let leadership know that the present thing is hard, it is tough and it requires a more relaxing policy that will trickle down, other than on paper or within the agencies and organizations, something that will trickle down to a majority

Bamidele who is a convener of the Pentecost Day charged the Nigerians to
put their trust in God, stressing that trusting people or government may be disappointing.

He urged them to pray for leadership to meet up citizens expectations, noting that Nigerians expectations appears dashed.

He said, ”My message to every Nigerian, and everyone on the earth, put your trust in God, trusting man, government and people may be disappointing.

“I also understand that leadership is an onerous task, and you may not really feel how people are feeling, because you have your eye on the bigger picture. You feel that it will solve their problem.

“As a servant leader, everything in organization belongs to the people we serve, not to us. The current system is under immense pressure to meet the basic needs of many, including food, housing, medical care, and education. It’s becoming increasingly challenging, and I believe leaders should be deeply empathetic and responsive to these”, he said.
