The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Zone RS11, on Friday celebrated the Mess Patron and Zonal Commanding Officer, ACM Joseph W. Toby, for his exceptional leadership during his service in the zone.

Speaking at the maiden Officers’ Mess Day at the Zone RS11 Officers’ Mess, Osogbo, the Sector Commander of the Osun State Sector Command, Corps Commander, Leye Adegboyega paid glowing tribute to the Mess Patron guidance and approval for the event.

According to Adegboyega, I wish to express appreciations to the Mess Patron, the amiable ZCO RS11, ACM Joseph W Toby, MLC, JP, FISPON, for his leadership and guidance in piloting the affairs of the Mess and for granting approval for today’s event to hold.

He described the occasion as historic and expressed profound gratitude to officers for their presence and support, noting that the Mess Day was the first of its kind in the Zone.

Adegboyega urged members to actively patronize the Officers’ Mess as part of collective efforts to strengthen the facility and boost its revenue base.

He encouraged then to show a strong sense of belonging by making regular use of the facility, urging them to publicize the Mess to their family members, friends, and associates, for social activities approved events within the establishment.

According to the leadership of the Mess, increased patronage remains critical to sustaining the operations of the facility and improving service delivery for the benefit of all members.

“I also wish to sincerely appreciate other members of the Mess Executive Committee for their invaluable support through which we have been able to forge ahead and ensure the sustainability of this noble project. The same goes to Mirento Global Services, our partner in the day to day running and operations of the Mess for almost Two (2) years now.

“As we all know, the Officers’ Mess is an integral part of military and paramilitary establishments, dedicated for social and recreational purposes, to promote camaraderie and foster esprit de corps. The Mess Day is one of the major activities that hold in the Officers’ Mess, meant to promote and achieve the purpose of camaraderie for which the Mess is established.

“We are therefore proud to have our own Mess in Zone RS11 and I encourage you all, Distinguished Officers, to develop a sense of belonging in this establishment and support its progress, he said.

Commending the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Zone RS11, Mess Patron and Zonal Commanding Officer, ACM Joseph W. Toby, expressed joy in working with them throughout his service period in the zone, pledging his readiness to render support whenever the need arises.

Zone RS11 presented a gift to the Mess Patron and Zonal Commanding Officer for his contributions in the zone, which was presented by the Sector Commander of the Osun State Sector Command
