Osun 2026: I Didn’t Emerge Overnight, Record Of Service Sets Me Apart – Oyebamiji

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2026 Osun governorship election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has declared that his long-standing record of integrity, discipline, and service distinguishes him from other contenders in the race.

Oyebamiji stated that his journey in life and leadership has been built over decades through hard work, consistency, and dedication to service, stressing that he did not “emerge overnight.”

Speaking while reflecting on his personal and professional background, the APC flagbearer said every stage of his life has been defined by diligence and excellence, from his early education to his banking career and public service engagements.

According to him, “I am a man with history, a history built on integrity, discipline, hard work, and steady progress. From ADC Primary School, Oke-Ada, to Ayedaade Grammar School, through my academic journey in Ibadan Polytechnic, and into a distinguished professional career spanning WEMA Bank, Trans-International Bank, Spring Bank, and Enterprise Bank, every stage of my journey has been defined by diligence and excellence.”

Oyebamiji noted that there has never been any ambiguity about his records, character, or achievements, maintaining that his rise was shaped through years of sacrifice, competence, and responsibility.

“My journey in life has been brick by brick, step by step, built on experience, competence, and the trust of the people and institutions I have served. I did not emerge overnight; I was shaped through years of sacrifice, responsibility, and unwavering commitment to service,” he said.

The APC candidate further described himself as a product of perseverance, accountability, and purposeful leadership, values he said would continue to guide his vision for Osun State if elected governor in 2026.
