The Osun Online Media practitioners association (OOMPA) has congratulated seasoned journalist and Comrade, Kehinde Ayantunji on his new appointment as SSA on students’ affairs and social mobilization to of Osun state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
In a press statement jointly signed by the Chairman and publicity secretary of the association, Jare Tiamiyu and Tunde Olorungbotemi, respectively, the association said that “the appointment of Kehinde Ayantunji is well deserved,” stating that the new SSA has the capability to fit into any task assigned to him as far as students comradeship and social development are concerned.
Ayantunji was until his appointment, the Nigeria Union of Journalist chairman of Osun state council.
The association tasked Ayantunji to bring his professional experience in students community as the former students’ union leader to bear in the new assignment, urging him to continue to uphold the ethics of integrity, hardworking and caring heart in the discharge of his duties and to promote the ideals of the students welfarism for the overall good of the institutions, and state in particular.
“As a thorough-bred Journalist, we don’t have any iota of doubt in your ability to deliver in the new assignment given to you.
“However, it is important that we encourage you to live up to expectation and ensure that Welfarism, professionalism and diligence, which we know you for, remain your watchword in this onerous task ahead of you.
“We urge you to perfectly fit into the vision of the Governor Gboyega Oyetola to equip, mobilize and rebrand Nigerian students,” the statement said.
