Action Alliance (AA) has fixed the sale of intent and nomination forms for Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi governorship elections at N20 million.

This was disclosed by James Vernimbe, the party’s national secretary, on Sunday.

The gubernatorial elections in the three states are scheduled to be held in 2023.

In a statement, Mr Vernimbe highlighted the party’s timetable and schedule of activities for the 2023 Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi governorship election.

“Sales of intent and nomination forms commences from Dec. 12, 2022 to April 10, 2023.

“Screening of governorship aspirants begins April 11 and end on April 13, 2023.

“All appeals will be on April 14 and the governorship primaries will be on April 16, 2023,” he said.

He explained that the intent form would be sold at N5 million, while the nomination form would be sold at N15 million.

Mr Vernimbe said however, that youth and women aspirants of not more than 35 years of age would pay only 50 per cent of the cost of the forms.

“Intent/Nomination forms for persons with disability (PWD) are free of charge, however governorship aspirants under this category shall pay an administrative charge of only N2 million.

“There would be no refund of money after payment,” he said.
