As the Muslims all over the world celebrates the annual Ei-Del-Kabir festival, the Osun State Focal Person on National Social Investment Program-NSIP, Hon Lukman Abimbola Bello has congratulated Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the state, his entire family as well as the entire people of the state.
According to Hon Bello in his Ei-Del-Kabir congratulatory message issued on Saturday and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, he admonished all Muslims to use this year festival to pray over next week Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
Hon Bello who is also the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the state on Social Intervention Program, said the Eid-el-Kabir celebration exemplifies the virtues of love and sacrifice as some of the pillars for existence of humanity, hence the need for Muslim faithful and all Nigerians to epitomise the spirit of love for the continuous prosperity of the country.
Hon Bello, said love for one another regardless of political affiliation, tribe, culture and religion will set the nation on the right path, adding that a nation can only develop where there is peace while urging politicians to shun politics of bitterness as well as campaign of calumny.
The Ede born politician who lauded the Governor for being supportive on social intervention programmes, federal and state informed that,Mr Governor believes so much in giving back to the community and the people saying he does his best for the people and always after making life better for people within Osun no matter their respective religion or political affiliation. He’s a wonderful man.
Hon Bello added that, “Second term of Gov Oyetola is going to be better because this first time, he met a huge debt which he has been offsetting without borrowing from anywhere.
“He has been paying salaries fully, rehabilitating roads, hospitals doing so many social intervention programmes. He feeds 1,000 household, local government on a monthly basis; that’s what he has been doing, he increased local government so many things.
“We rely on God, he don’t say too much things, but he acts more than what he says. That is Isiaka Adegboyega for you. He is a promise keeper, calm and collected personality, an encyclopaedia of Finance. We are going to do more, far better when we come to power.
He urged the Osun people to demonstrate their complete support to Gov Oyetola’s led administration for him to win the governorship election come July 16 election.
