A former governorship candidate of People Democratic Party, (PDP) Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, has enjoined Nigerians, particularly the good people of Osun state to be courageous in confronting whatever challenge the new year may bring, maintaining a strong and positive mindset throughout 2021.
This is contained in a New-year message released by Senator Adeleke on Friday, to congratulate Nigerians on witnessing the new year, expressing optimism that the current health, social and economic challenges bedeviling the world would soon give way for better times if we remain positive and support each other.
He charged Osun people to remain committed to birthing a government that truly serves them, noting that 2021 is the year when the foundation of the future they have always envisaged will be laid.
“We thank God for the privilege to be alive to witness a new year, and I congratulate Nigerians, particularly Osun people who are ushering in 2021 today, going by how turbulent 2020 was, we must be thankful to God for His divine grace and mercy that sustained us.”
Senator Adeleke urged Osun people not to be downcast by the hopelessness that seem to pervade the mandate usurpers curently in government.
“Without a doubt, you deserve better than you’re getting now, your hardwork and sacrifice appear unappreciated and unproductive with little to nothing to show your families for all your efforts. I can assure you that reprieve is on its way and I ask you to persevere a little more while registering your support for the quest to salvage Osun state.”
