Adeleke Commissions Four Projects in Ile-Ife, Modakeke, Appeals for Peaceful Coexistence

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has commissioned four different projects in Ile-Ife and Modakeke, emphasizing the importance of peaceful coexistence among communities.

The micro projects completed by government through Osun Community and Social Development Agency (Osun CSDA), which include motorized boreholes and VIP toilets at Molodo Community and Alawe community, Sabo were commissioned on Monday,

Others are, motorised borehole at Oke Ayo, Ile Funfun Community and renovated school hall of the Apostolic Grammar School, Modakeke.

Adeleke, represented by Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Professor Ademola Adeleke, noted that the projects were implemented due to the peaceful environment in the beneficiary communities.

He urged the residents to maintain peace and support his administration’s efforts to transform the state.

The governor assured the residents that his government would bring more intervention programs to them, saying, “What we have done is just a beginning, and this can be done with the support you give.”

He also emphasized the need for the residents to maintain the projects, as they were built with their counterpart funds.

However, General Manager of the Osun Community and Social Development Agency (Osun-CSDA), Mrs Funmi Abokede, praised Governor Adeleke for his prompt release of funds, which enabled the completion of the micro projects.

She congratulated the beneficiaries on the successful implementation of the projects and encouraged them to utilize and maintain the facilities for future generations.

Prince Adefioye Bakare, a resident of the area, expressed his gratitude to the governor for his dedication to rural development.

A middle-aged woman and owner of a tailoring shop in Molodo community, Iya Saheed, thanked Governor Adeleke and Osun-CSDA for the commissioned project, which now provides her community with access to portable water and a VIP toilet, making life easier for them.
