Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has directed all the 30 local government in the state to construct one point five (1.5) kilometers of road in their council area.
The coordinating director, Osun State ministry of works and transport, Engineer Olusola Ajao stated this on Imole Ayo, a sensitization programme put in place by the office of the spokesperson to the governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed to promote the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration on state owned Radio and Television.
He assured the people that all ongoing road projects across the state will soon be completed while other roads due for construction/rehabilitation will start immediately.
According to him, officials of the ministry of works and transport will as from Monday begin reconnaissance survey and data gathering on the stretch of the road to pave way for the commencement of the dualizasion project
He said the present Administration in Osun State is poised to give Osogbo a facelift with a view to making the ancient town have the look of a real State Capital
Engineer Ajao appealed to residents of the state to continue supporting the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke through regular payment of taxes which he noted are being used to provide social amenities in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
