Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has presented the staff of office and instrument of appointment to Oba Williams Oyesunle Alabi Ogundare II, the 15th Asundunrin of Isundunrin, Ejiigbo local government area of the state.
Oba Alabi was first installed as the Asundunrin of Isundunrin on December 3rd 1985 who reigned for 12 years and
interrupted by the Supreme Court.
Governor Adeleke on August 19th, 2024 appointed Oba Alabi following the passing away of Oba Apostle Alimi Gbadegesin earlier this year.
Adeleke who was presented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Dosu Babatunde who made the presentation of staff office on Tuesday at the Baptist Primary School, Isundurin, Ejigbo local government.
He enjoined all to the people of town continue to support his administration for the development of the state.
He charged the monarch to unite all his subjects in his domain for the development of the town.
According to him, “It gives immense pleasure and joy to be part of this memorable event of a formal instrument of appointment and staff of office to the Royal Highness, Oba Oyesunle William Alabi, the Asundunrin of Isundunrin today 3rd December 2024.
“I’m glad to be part of the new era and chapter in the history of this town and I believe, is an occasion that the Royal Highness and good people of the community have been waiting for.
“Now that you’re on the throne of your forefathers, the period of context is over, and the period of administer of the community has begun.
“Cooperate with the present administration and mobilize your people to contribute their quota to the growth and development of Osun state.
“To the people of Isundunrin government expect you to live in peace and harmony with your neighbors.
Among eminents in attendance including traditional rulers, Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyesosin ll, Alapomu of Apomu.
