Former governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande has charged Nigerian police officers to embody professionalism and excellence in their security roles.
Baba Akande who was Represented by immediate Past Deputy Governor of Osun State, Benedict Alabi (BOA) at a seminar on ‘Strengthening Tactical Excellence and Resilience’ at the Police Mobile Force Training College in Ila Orangun.
Chief Akande emphasized the pivotal role of police officers in maintaining internal security.
He urged them to approach their training with dedication and humility.
He commended the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Funsho Adegboye, and the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for their strategic leadership.
Other dignitaries present included ACP Anietie Eyo, HRM Oba Abolarin Adedokun, Dr. Obawale Adebisi; Hon. Adeyemi Adebara, Hon. Segun Awotunde, Hon. Anifowose Tajudeen, and some of my political associates.
