The Akesin-in-Council has condoled with the Orangun of Oke-Ila-Orangun, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, over the passing of his wife, Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin.

In a statement, the Akesin-in-Council described Olori Solape as a gracious queen, compassionate mother figure, and pillar of her community.

The council prayed for the repose of her soul and comfort for the royal family during this difficult time.

It is with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss that the Akesin-in-Council received the devastating news of the passing of Her Royal Majesty, Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin, the beloved wife of our revered monarch, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, Orangun of Oke-Ila.

The sad news came to us as a rude shock and has cast a deep pall of mourning across Ora-Igbomina and the wider Igbomina land. Olori Solape was not only a gracious queen but a shining light whose warmth, humility, and quiet strength radiated peace and hope. She was a supportive consort, a compassionate mother figure, and a true pillar of her community.

Her demise is not only a personal loss to His Royal Majesty and the entire royal household of Oke-Ila, but also a communal tragedy that leaves a painful void in the hearts of all who knew her. We in Ora-Igbomina remember her kind-heartedness, her dignified presence, and her deep love for culture, tradition, and the upliftment of her people.

On behalf of the good people of Ora-Igbomina, the Akesin-in-Council wishes to express our heartfelt condolences to Your Royal Majesty, the royal family, and the entire people of Oke-Ila. May God grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and comfort you in this dark hour.

As we mourn her departure, we also celebrate a life well-lived, a life of dignity, grace, service, and unwavering loyalty. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may her memory remain a blessing and an inspiration to all.

Please accept, once again, our deepest sympathies.
