As the race for the occupation of the tenancy of the Governor’s Office and Government House, Osogbo is heating up, a concerned league of professionals worldwide of which Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO, is a key member, rooting for his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the AMBO Legacy Group, has extolled the virtues of the Ikire-born governorship aspirant for his suitability for the exalted position.

According to the coordinator of the group, Alhaji Aderemi TJ, a retired banker, finance and management consultant, Asiwaju Oyebamiji is indeed a highly accomplished individual, boasting an impressive resumé that showcases his expertise in both the public and private sectors who as the current Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority(NIWA), has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, guiding the organization towards greater heights.

The AMBO Legacy Group coordinator also stated that Asiwaju Oyebamiji’s academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration while he is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, and the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals, Nigeria.

According to the support group coordinator: “Throughout his career, Oyebamiji has received numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding performance, including the Most Outstanding Commissioner of the Year Award in 2019 and 2020. His selfless leadership and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation as a positive role model.

“Oyebamiji’s commitment to the growth and development of Osun State is evident in his past roles, including his tenure as Commissioner for Finance under erstwhile Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Adegboyega Oyetola. His experience in the private sector, particularly in banking, has equipped him with the skills necessary to drive economic growth and development in the state.

“The AMBO Legacy Group strongly supports Oyebamiji for the governorship aspiration due to his verifiable leadership qualities. His level of honesty is never in doubt. He demonstrated through his transparent and accountable leadership style.

“The foremost APC governorship aspirant is a compassionate leader with a high level of integrity evident in his adherence to moral and ethical principles.

“As a visionary leader, his ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions is never in doubt. He is also a strategic thinker, skilled in analyzing complex situations and developing effective plans.

“Above all, Alhaji Oyebamiji understands and shares the feelings of others as well as clearly articulating his ideas and listens actively. As a good collaborator, he builds and maintains strong relationships with diverse stakeholders in Osun State. He is also known as a great problem-solver with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions which made him an ideal candidate for the governorship position of our dear state.

“Given these impressive track records, we are declaring our overwhelming supports for Oyebamiji’s governorship aspiration in Osun State. We are also requesting for his endorsement by the APC as the party’s candidate as a testament to his sterling leadership qualities and dedication to public service considering his impressive credentials, leadership experience, and commitment to public service. All these make him an ideal candidate for the governorship election in Osun State”, the retired CBN official stated.
