Alcaraz also learned a few things as the minutes went by.They could both win, honestly. I’m glad I stayed there the whole time. I concentrated on what was happening on one side of the pitch. I saw their stances in response, the way they moved between strikes.
Alcaraz tried to play aggressive tennis. I’ll try to do it more often, because you see things from the field that you can’t see on television.”About Washington, Murray said: “I arrived early in Washington to try to adapt as quickly as possible to the humidity. I had a lot of problems last year, like cramps, and I wanted to have more time to prepare.”
