The Appeal committee on Wards Congress of All Progressives Congress, (APC) on Friday arrived Osogbo, Osun State as they received 32 petition from 10 local government area of the state.

Chairman of the committee, Ambassador Obed Wadzain said the committee was assigned to attend to the petitions that came up after the ward congress in the state.

Waszain stated that the exercise is a family affairs, saying the committee’s duty is only limited to the just concluded Ward Congress.

He said that the committee has 32 petitions in hand that were submitted to national Secretariat from 10 local government area of the State.

According to him, “By tomorrow starting 9 O’Clock the committee will be sitting here at the party Secretariat to look at the various petitions been submitted to the National. A part of that any members of our great party APC that wish to submit petition or one things or the other any irregularities in respect of ward Congress can still submit the petition.

Waszain explained that if a petition is not submitted before 9:30a.m such petition will not be entertained.

He added among all petitions handed over to them none was submitted through the state excos members.

Ifedayo Local Government.

Boripe Local Government.

7, 10, 11.

Ede North Local Government.

2,3,6.

Odo-Otin Local Government.

Wards
2,7,12.

Ejigbo Local Government.

Wards
3,6,7.

Isokan Local Government.

Wards
1,8,9.

Irewole Local Government.

Wards
2,5,8.

Atakumosa Local Government.

Wards
1,3,8.

Osogbo Local Government.

Wards
1,4,13.

The deputy governor, Benedict Alabi, Senate spokesman Senator Ajibola Basiru, Caretaker committee chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun and local governments party chairmen among others all welcomed the committee at the party.
