The leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) youth wing across 30 local government of the state and area office have called on the party members to queue behind the present government under the watch of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the development of the state.
They made the call during the press briefing at the APC party Secretariat, Osogbo, Osun State, on Thursday, urged the party members to work for the greater good of the state, and not be swayed by those whose ambitions are motivated by their personal gains.
Speaking, Special Adviser to Governor Oyetola on Youths And Sports, Aremo Adegboyega said, “it is imperative for us to set out early to support the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to ensure that the gains of IleriOluwa is delivered to the State.
Adegboyega said the current leadership of our party, the All Progressive Congress is one, and there is no division whatsoever within the party.
He added that The agitation by the faceless group is ridiculous, baseless, unconstitutional and illogical planed to distract the workaholic governor.
“We must also set the record straight over the recent advertorial packaged to cause division in the state by a faceless group named Osun Network for Equity and Social Justice, clamouring for power shift to Osun West Senatorial District in 2022.
He further said Governor Oyetola has paid much attention to the development of the West Senatorial District, particularly in the areas of education, health, road infrastructure, political and human development.
According to him, It gladdens our hearts to inform the world that His Excellency, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, has magnanimously attended to, face-lifted and in some areas, built health facilities, especially PHCs across all over 100 electoral wards in Osun West District, establishment of the Federal College of Education, Iwo and the non-career Ambassador recently announced.
“The entire APC youths pass a vote of confidence on the Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola to lead Osun till 2026, for his foresight, exemplary leadership, and administrative skills.
“As one of the largest wings of the party, the youths are unwavering, solid and rooted in our loyalty to Oyetola’s leadership prowess as the State helmsman, and this will continue as long as he remains committed to the part of good governance and emulative motivational relationship with the entire Osun and most especially the Osun West Senatorial District electorates
“Our coming here is to inform the people that there is work to be done in the State, and the work must be done within a well defined time frame. That is why we have come to declare support for Governor Oyetola for second term.” he added
