Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation associates has facilitated Muslims across the world on the occasion of the 2020 edition of Eid-Ul-Adha (Ileya).
In a congratulatory message signed by the National Coordinator, Comrade Ishola Olateteju and made available to newsmen on Friday, the group urged citizenry to remain prayerful for Nigeria peace and progress.
“Ileya is a very unique, special and memorable Islamic festival that brings together families, friends and relations from far and wide aside numerous spiritual purity and abundant mercy that is embedded in it.
The foundation associates with Nigerians particularly over the Coronavirus pandemic which made this year edition less with fan fare yet, we give glory to God for his guidance over all us that witness this celebration.
According to the statement, “We join our Muslim brothers and sisters to thank Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness it again this year with good health and visible happiness.
“Let us remain prayerful for the country as a whole and keep supporting the present government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, the group urged Nigerians to remain committed to the nation building as we belief our effort shall soon pay off and we will all reap the fruits of our labour.
