Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji, the Senior Special Assistant on social mobilization and students Affairs to Governor Gboyega Oyetola has charged the leadership of the Student Union Government to engage themselves in vibrant unionism.
Ayantunji gave the charge yesterday at the Committee For Defense Of Human Rights (CDHR) annual symposium, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree campus unit, said leadership is about self-development to meet up the task.
He called on all the aspirants to engage in a quality debate which can portray them as an activist, not an identity card unionists.
He pledged support to the ideological organization on campus to have vibrant unionism for the betterment of the student.
The SSA implored all the aspirants who are for one post or the other at different levels to do away with do-or-die affairs before, during, and after the election.
According to him, “When you have Higher National Diploma is one of the highest levels of education. In some countries, you don’t need to come to the institutions what you need to survive is technical education but for you to have passed through national diploma and industrial training and for you to have passed through all these processes and your standard of evaluation after you graduate is the somebody with little or low IQ (Intelligence Quotient) that is a failure.
