Breaking: Civil societies, Students give Buhari 5 days ultimatum to reverse electricity tariff, PMS

The Coalition of civil societies, Osun state and National Associational of Nigerian students have given the Federal Government five days ultimatum to reverse the electricity tariff and petrol pump price.

The protesters stormed Osogbo, state capital of Osun on Friday demanding a total reversal of hike in electricity and fuel.

The protesters who were with different placards saying ” we want a better life, enough is enough.

“We are suffering, we can’t breath,no to fuel increment of electricity tariff”.

Speaking, the chairman of Civil Societies Coalition, Comrade Waheed Lawal said the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians over unfulfilled promised he made during electioneering process.

Acccording to him “We are here today to tell the Federal Government that Nigerians own this country and the masses voted for President Buhari because of certain promises which they (government) have failed to fulfill.

“We give President Buhari five days ultimatum to reverse electricity tariff and petrol pump price or see riot of the masses.

“After five days we are going to make the country ungovernable for them if they failed to reverse this decision” he added.
