Members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Osun State chapter on Thursday stormed the party secretariat at Biket junction in Osogbo to protest the alleged interference of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde into the affairs of the party in the state.
The Party members drawn from all wards in the State were armed with placards with several inscriptions all warning the interference by “external forces”.
They also alleged the southwest zonal Chairman, Hon Soji Adagunodo of disrupting the party activities using his office.
Some of the inscriptions read, “Osun is not an appendage of Oyo”, “Seyi Makinde, please keep off”, PDP Govs, we love and respect you”, “Ademola Adeleke is our man”, among others.
They protesters were chanting different songs all pointing towards the external influence.
