The President of the Human Capital Providers Association of Nigeria (HuCaPAN), Dr. Olufemi Ogunlowo has felicitated with Christians on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.

HuCaPAN’s Executive Secretary, Mr. Jide Afolabi, in a press statement issued on Monday, urged Nigerians to embrace the love and unity that the birth of Christ preaches.

He said Christmas symbolizes the celebration of the birth of a new dawn for the salvation of souls for all humanity.

While acknowledging that the occasion should be joyous with merry-making, he said that if more Nigerians imbibed these ideals and virtues, and made them more evident in their daily lives, the society would be a better place.

He urged Nigerians to re-dedicate themselves to the enabling ideals and virtues of faith in God, love for others, selflessness, honesty, peaceful co-existence, tolerance, and dedication to duty which Jesus Christ preached and exemplified in his time on earth.

The statement reads, “I urge all Nigerians to be patient and look forward to a better future. With abiding faith in Jesus Christ, all our challenges will be a thing of the past as we move to a glorious new year.

“I enjoin us to stress the importance of peace, love, generosity, and unity in our teachings during this sacred period and show love to one another.”

“On behalf of the Executive Committee of this great Association, I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year ahead. May your Christmas be filled with joy and happiness, so that it leaves you with special unforgettable memories. And as the New Year unfolds, may it bring everything that you could ever hope for and more in Jesus’ mighty name.”

“I want us all to give adequate support to the Association in our quest to take it to a greater heights. HuCaPAN is God’s initiated project and it has come to stay.” He stressed.

“I wish everyone unending joy and happiness as we celebrate this auspicious occasion”.

HuCaPAN is the umbrella association of licensed private employment agencies in Nigeria.

The association provides a platform for Private Employment Agencies to interact with the regulatory body (government), labor, communities, and other relevant institutions within and outside Nigeria to develop International Labour Organisation (ILO) standards and ethical practices in recruitment, deployment, and management of manpower in Nigeria.
