As the Local Government elections approach this Saturday, Representative Bamidele Salam, who represents the People of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state at the National Assembly, has solicited the support of the people for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirants vying for various positions in his constituency and across Osun State.

The Lawmaker solicited for the support in a press statement signed by his media Assistant, Joshua Afolabi and made available to the newsmen on Thursday.

Ahead of the local government elections, Rep. Salam emphasized his dedication to ensuring the people of his constituency benefit from leadership that is transparent, capable, and focused on sustainable progress.

He called for strong support for the following aspirants, highlighting their qualifications and readiness to serve the people with integrity.

For Ede North Local Government, Salam solicited support for Mr. Taiwo Amodu, the Chairman aspirant, a man of experience and integrity who he believes will continue to foster progress in the local government.

He also appealed for support for Mr. Oyekanmi Abeeb, the Vice Chairman aspirant, a highly capable individual with great promise in local governance.

In the Ede South Local Government, Salam requested support for Alh. Lukman Afolabi PKA Abeere Soose, the Chairman aspirant, a well-regarded community leader who is committed to the development of the people of Ede South. He also sought support for Alhaja Amudalat, the Vice Chairman aspirant, a dedicated woman ready to contribute to the growth of the local government.

For Ejigbo Local Government, Salam called on the people to back Hon. (Mrs.) Nafisat Raimi Sofoluwe, the Chairman aspirant, an experienced and compassionate leader dedicated to advancing Ejigbo. He also asked for support for Hon. Yusuf Ismail Elewedi, the Vice Chairman aspirant, whose leadership skills and community-oriented approach have earned him widespread recognition.

Finally, for Egbedore Local Government, Salam urged the people to support Hon. Sanya Okunade, the Chairman aspirant, a seasoned politician with a clear vision for the local government’s development. He also appealed for support for Alhaji Adio Adeyinka Mufutau, the Vice Chairman aspirant, a trusted leader who has significantly contributed to the aspirations of the people of Egbedore.

As the election draws near, Representative Salam who’s also the Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts called on the people of Osun State to come out and vote for the PDP candidates, urging them to choose leaders who are experienced and genuinely committed to the welfare of the people.

“Together, we will ensure that our local governments thrive under competent and visionary leadership.

The PDP candidates for these positions are all individuals of exceptional character, and I am confident that they will bring the needed change and progress to our communities,” Representative Salam said in his statement.

He further assured the people of his continued efforts to facilitate sustainable development at the federal level, working in collaboration with local leadership to create lasting impact across the constituency.
