Osun state government in conjunction with the Community and Social Development Agency, (CSDA) have delivered functional water borehole facility to the Joint of Association of Persons Living With Disability, (JONAPWD) in the state.
The borehole project for the persons living with disability is one of the Osun COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic stimulus ”OSUN-CARES” 37 micro projects.
The project which was commissioned by Governor Adegbeyoga Oyetola, yesterday, in Moboluwaduro community, Olorunda local government area of the state.
Oyetola who was represented by the Commissioner For Rural Development And Community Affairs, Prince Segun Olanibi charged the residents of the community to take good care of the facilities.

He said the government did the borehole project as part of its commitment for inclusive governance to all in the state.
The governor charged all the people with disabilities to continue with their unannoyed support for him government.
Speaking, the Secretary of the Joint of Association of Persons Living With Disability, (JONAPWD), Osogbo and Olohunda local government area, Mr. Lateef Olalekan commended the government for kind for the persons living with disabilities since inception of the present administration under watch Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Olalekan pledged that members of the group will take good care of the facility.
Also speaking, General Manager of Osun Community Social Development Agency( CSDA), Mrs Funmi Abokede, said that Osun COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic stimulus ‘OSUN-CARES’ funded by World Bank and Osun State Government.
Abokede explained that the Osun-CARES 37 micro projects is facing four sections; health, water, education including food and nutrition.
Explaining why the agency took its intervention to schools, Abokede said it was the school managements in conjunction with their students who requested that their schools science laboratories should be rehabilitated and upgraded with equipment so that they can come out with good grade in their examinations.
She urged the communities who benefited from the Osun CARE projects to make proper use of them and ensure that they maintained it.
It was gathered that the agency will conclude its commissioning of already completed projects today with two motorized boreholes in Ibokun and heath post centre, Okeyelu, Olorunda Local Government Area, Osun state.
