The Osun Online publishers Association,OOPA, has donated the food items to Abiye orphanage Home and waste bins, brooms to Igbonna market as its kick started 2024 Digital Media Week.
The 2024 digital week began with a press conference held at the Association’s office on Wednesday, led by the chairman, Mukhtar Ajelogbon
The Chairman led members of the association to Abiye orphanage Home Osogbo to contribute to the welfare of the children while also extending community services to Igbonna market by donating waste bins and brooms for cleaning.
Earlier at the press conference, the chairman charged members of the new media to always reflect balance and objectivity in the news report.
“I charge all new media to always reflect truthfulness, balance and objectivity in your news report, these are the necessities and rudiments of journalism.
“Avoid partiality in your stories, balance your stories from both sides, do not report false news stories”, he charged.
The Digital week continues December 5th, as public lecture and presentation of award of excellence will be given to worthy recipients who have excelled in their various fields.
