A car drove into an insurance agency after a traffic accident where a vehicle ran a red light, hitting another car Monday.
Lt. Warren Foster with the Mapleton Police Department told KSL that the crash happened on 400 N. Main Street around noon.
Witnesses told police that a woman drove past a red light, hitting another car and causing one of the cars to enter a nearby insurance office.
The woman driver was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to Foster, only one person inside the building was hurt, as shrapnel hit them, but he didn’t require medical attention.
