The Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Durojaye Isaac (SIKOMOLE), has been honored with the Award of Excellence by Awofele on Orisun Fm, in recognition and appreciation as best human empowerment of the year as well as his remarkable contributions to empowerment advocacy and workforce development through the ministry of Cooperatives and Empowerment.

Awofele on Orisun Fm, is a program regularly aired on the radio station by Gbenga Awoyeye. The event celebrated Gbenga Awoyeye’s 20 years on air and 60th birthday.

According to him, the awardee has been a strong pillar for me, this is in recognition of his exceptional efforts as the best human empowerment advocate, a testament to his unwavering commitment to creating opportunities and empowering individuals within the labor market.

He said, Hon. Durojaye has championed initiatives that have significantly impacted empowerment rates, skill development, and career growth for countless individuals, adding that his innovative approach and dedication have made him a beacon of hope for humanity.

“By fostering partnerships with key stakeholders, advocating for policies that enhance empowerment opportunities, and mentoring young professionals, Hon. Durojaye has set a new benchmark in human resource advocacy”, he said.

Speaking, Jeleel Olawale, his media assistant, who received the Award on behalf of the Special Adviser said, “I am deeply honored to receive this Award of Excellence. This recognition is not just about my efforts but about the collective work of everyone who believes in the power of meaningful empowerment Together, we are transforming lives and building stronger communities”.

He noted further that Hon. Durojaye Isaac’s recognition as the best human empowerment underscores the importance of visionary leadership in helping vulnerables and creating sustainable employment solutions. His work continues to inspire many to strive for excellence and equity in the society.

He called on wealthy individuals to continue to help, empower and create employment opportunities to the youth so that there can peace and harmony in the society.
