The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Ife Central Local Government chapter, Prince Falabi Nurudeen, has congratulated the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid el Kabir, the festival of sacrifice.
He called for prayers for the state and the country in their challenging times, and appealed for moderate in their celebrations.
The Chairman said this in a statement on Wednesdayday by his Media office.
“The Chairman, in a message of felicitation to the Muslim faithful on the festival of Eid-el-Kabir, urged Muslims live the example of Prophet Mohammed who showed love, faith and sacrifice,” it read in part.
Falabi also commended the resilience of citizens in these tough times and prayed for the blessings of Allah for the immense sacrifices that are being made.
“Falabi urged the Muslim community to keep hope alive, and to celebrate Eid el-Kabir with the fear of Allah, and comply with security guidelines.
“The Chairman appealed to all communities in Osun State and Ile-Ife to uphold peace and harmony while celebrating and support the president administration in the State in the developmental stride of Governor Ademola Adeleke”, he said
