An Islamic organisation, Faith Centre of Nigeria, has on Sunday, congratulated all Muslims Ummah on the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The organisation in a message by its president, Mallam Yeken Uthman felicitated with Muslims in the world particularly Nigeria on another Eid-el-Adha and pray Allah to accept the worship.
He said, he is specifically impressed with the multiple and persistent prayers from especially the clergies and other well meaning Muslims during this period for Allah to bring an end to challenge of insecurity and economic hardship facing the country.
The organisation urged the Muslims to reflect on this period of festivity and try to sustain the lessons and good deeds they have embraced in order to get the benefits of the special period.
“This period is always a special one as it is expected that all Muslims would have made sacrifice and endurance, and pardoned by the Almighty Allah just as everyone discarded bad habits to concentrate on finding true peace with their Lord.
“With the kind of fervent prayers offered in this period. I beseech Allah to listen to our prayers and shower His mercy unto us. To please our Lord, we must sustain all the good deeds we have imbibed and exhibited in the sacrificial period”, he said.
He added; “As I appreciate our rejoicing with one another and giving to the needy as dictated by Qur’an and Hadith, we implore you all not to cease from continuously praying for the peace, unity and stability of the country”.
“I also pray that Nigerians, irrespective of religious affiliations and ethnic identities, will continue to live righteously and harmoniously, even after this annual spiritual exercise.
“I wish the Muslim faithful and indeed the Federal Republic Nigeria, Happy Eid-el-Adha May Allah bless you,” Yeken prayed.
