A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, Hon. Bukola Ojuade has congratulated the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid el Kabir, the festival of sacrifice.
He called for prayers for the state and the country in their challenging times, and appealed for moderate in their celebrations.
Ojuade said this in a Sallah message on Wednesday signed and made available newsmen.
“The APC stalwart in a message of felicitation to the Muslim faithful on the festival of Eid-el-Kabir, urged Muslims live the example of Prophet Mohammed who showed love, faith and sacrifice,” it read in part.
Ojuade also commended the resilience of citizens in these tough times and prayed for the blessings of Allah for the immense sacrifices that are being made.
“He urged the Muslim community to keep hope alive, and to celebrate Eid el-Kabir with the fear of Allah, and comply with security guidelines.
“The APC Chieftain appealed to all communities in Osun State and Ile-Ife to uphold peace and harmony while celebrating and support the president administration in the country in the developmental stride of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, he said.
