A Chieftain of the ruling-All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State and Chairman, Gboyega Oyetola Foundation, GOF, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo, has congratulated Muslims across the country on the successful completion of Ramadan.
This was part of a statement issued by his media team and made available to journalists in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to him, practitioners of the Islamic religion should not see the end of the Ramadan as an excuse to discontinue living a pious life.
“Rather, the end of the religious exercise should serve as a lesson to all to move closer to God in their daily living,” he stressed.
The GOF Chairman further charged all Nigerians on the need to continually pray for the country’s progress, most especially ahead of the fast-approaching general elections.
“This should be a time when practitioners of all religions ought to come together and pray for Nigeria to overcome all the numerous challenges confronting her.
“There is no better time for Nigerians, irrespective of our religious beliefs, to me together and confront the hydra-headed security challenges facing our country,” Prince Awofisayo further stated.
He therefore admonished all residents and indigenes of Osun to continue to pray for Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the ruling-party in their onerous task of ensuring the emergence of a better Osun which will be a source of envy to other states across the country.
