The Ejio ruling house has disassociated itself from appointment of Prince Olagoke Owoyomi as new Obajio of Ife – Chief Gabriel Owoyomi
The Head of Ejio ruling house, Chief Gabriel Owoyomi who spoken on behalf of the ruling house stated that they have disassociated themselves from appointment of Prince Olagoke Owoyomi as new Obajio of Ife.
Owoyomi said that the agreement of the whole house is that Prince Gbenga Owoyomi is their chosen candidate after he emerged victorious during the election for the stool of Obajio of Ife.
” We are not agreed with chosen of Prince Olagoke Owoyomi as Obajio, but our supportive candidate is Prince Gbenga Owoyomi.
” And we are warning those that behind the announcement of Olagoke that they should rethink and give us our right candidate chosen by ourselves for the sake of peace
“Each ruling house has a way of chosen their candidate, so nobody can impose on us, give us our right candidate and don’t cause mayhem in our family”. Head of Ejio.
Also Speaking, Chairman Screening Committee for the selection of Obajio, Pastor Benson Aromolaran, stated that due process was followed to chose Prince Gbenga Owoyomi.
Aromolaran added that right from the collection of intension form, through screening to the election stage which he emerged.
According to him, all the ruling house heads,as well as Baale, Loogun and the Ejio community at large were in support of Prince Gbenga Owoyomi for the stool of Obajio of moore.
