Arsenal striker, Eddie Nketiah could be set to sign for West Ham, as they are ready to take advantage of his contract situation at the Emirates, according to SportsMail.
Nketiah scored twice as the Gunners saw off Leeds United 2-1 on Sunday.
The win saw Mikel Arteta’s men open a four-point gap in fourth place ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.
Nketiah, who has displaced Alexandre Lacazette in the squad, only netted a brace against Chelsea last month.
The player’s current deal expires at the end of this season and his reps have held two rounds of talks with Arsenal.
Another meeting is planned to see if they can find a way forward around how much game time he will get.
A number of clubs are monitoring the situation, but West Ham are understood to be in pole position to pounce for the 22-year-old.
David Moyes, who is also a fan of Aston Villa striker, Ollie Watkins, is desperate to add more goals.
