The Africa Foundation for Young Media Professionals (AFYMP) has selected the FactualTimes Managing Editor, Oyewale Oyelola for its 2023 edition of Media Entrepreneurship Fellowship.
The six-month fellowship is scheduled to take place in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Port Harcourt under different themes.
Those invited for the training have the opportunity to choose the location nearest to them while those outside the shores of Nigeria could participate in the training virtually.
According to a letter signed by Oladunjoye Busola, the Program Officer of AFYMP and sent to FactualTimes Managing Editor on Friday, June 9, the media training will be conducted in batches and segments.
Oyelola is a fellow of ATUPA for Financial Journalists sponsored by the United States embassy and also a fellow of Financial Transparency in Nigeria in 2019.
He got a Naija Health Journalism grant for a story on Mental Health in 2021.
Oyelola is a media entrepreneur and lecturer in Mass Communication Department, Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti with an interest in News Writing and Print Media.
Oyewale Oyelola holds Higher National Diploma, Degree and Master’s in Mass Communication. He also earned Postgraduate diploma in International Relations from Lagos State University.
