FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC has entered into a strategic partnership with Kire Integrated Farms and Markets Limited (Kire Farms), situated at Km 39 Ife-Ibadan Expressway, Ikire, to drive dairy development in Osun State, Nigeria.
Speaking,the Chairman of Kire Farms, His Excellency, Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, said the both companies aim to create job for unemployment youths in the state and Nigerian at large.
Alabi said that the Kire Farms collaborate with the FrieslandCampina’s to expand dairy production and food security in Osun State and beyond.
The collaboration aims to improve the dairy industry in the region by establishing and expanding dairy farming operations.
By leveraging FrieslandCampina’s expertise in dairy processing and Kire Farms’ experience in agricultural innovation, the partnership seeks to enhance milk production, improve dairy farming practices, and create sustainable livelihoods for local farmers.
According to him, “The collaboration aims to utilize FrieslandCampina’s expertise to expand dairy production and meet the increasing demand for high-quality dairy products in Nigeria.
Both companies share a vision of promoting agricultural sustainability, innovation, and economic development in Nigeria. Through their joint efforts and investment in dairy farming, they aim to bolster food security, generate employment opportunities, and foster economic prosperity in Osun State and beyond.”
