Dr. Aderonke Agnes Oyeniyi, the wife of Oba Adetoyese Oyeniyi Odugbemi 1, the Olufi of Gbongan, has charged the Nigerian government to take appropriate measures that will turn around the Civil Service to encourage discipline and fear of God in the system.
Olori Oyeniyi gave the charge over the weekend, in Gbongan, Ayedaade local government area of Osun State, at her birthday and retirement ceremony organized by the children.
Dr Oyeniyi, a senior lecturer at Osun State University said that discipline has reduced in the Civil Service unlike early 70s and 80s when there was fear of God, and readiness to work.
She urged the government to add value that will encourage the young generation in the Service to be hard working and honest with their job.
According to her, “Today, I am happy because God has preserved my life and is an opportunity to witness His goodness upon my life.
“I can say am a very lucky person I work with both males and females as per head of retirement but have enjoyed favor from their side because I don’t look down on people and I take instructions and delivered to the letter, so I always enjoy my relationship with all my colleagues.
“I don’t have any regrets because I’ve been able to have the opportunity of developing myself even while in service and there has never been anybody to stop from moving to the top.
“I want to advise those in service that the moment you employed you should just look at your back and see the date of retirement behind you. However, you stay long in the job, a day is coming that you will leave the job but the best is to prepare your mind that you are going on a particular day. Once you can do that it will give you the grace to prepare for retirement and be happy at the exit of your service years.” Olori said
Speaking, one the high chief, in Gbongan, Chief Kazeem Ayodele described Olori Oyeniyi as a visionary mother that always care for the subject of the kingdom.
Chief Ayodele said that all the indigene of the ancient town celebrate Olori Oyeniyi because of her magnanimous to the people.

Comrade Olaniran Moshood charged the people to emulate the good virtue and behavior of Olori Olaniyi.
He said, “Mama is an exemplary person, so if you want to achieve in life you have to emulate her because she’s just an example of a good human being. very humble, industrious. She’s very diligent and hardworking.
