..Urges them to pray for july 16 election
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Osun State Youth Leader Hon Olagoke Akinwemimo has congratulated the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, his family, and entire Muslim community in the state on the completion of this year Ramadan as well as celebration of Id-el-fitri.
The APC Youth Leader in his congratulatory message on Monday rejoiced with Mr Governor, the first lady, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola, entire Oyetolas and the people of Osun.
Hon Akinwemimo in his statement said, “this year Ramadan is very crucial because of the governorship election that is approaching in which I believe that the entire Muslims used the period to prayed fervently for the reelection of Mr Governor.
” I will continue to say it loud and clear that we should all work together as a team to ensure there is total victory for our amiable, God fearing and peoples governor in the July 16 gubernatorial election in the state.
“I know that we all prayed and we have been praying before and during the just concluded Ramadan period and we should not stop our prayer even at the prayer ground this morning as Mr Governor deserves our unflinching support towards his reelection and he will not fail.
” As we continue to pray and work towards the second term bid of our governor, let us protect our Permanent Voter Card (PVC) as well which is the only opportunity for us to vote on that day. We should not sell it or transfer it but we should ensure we keep it privately withing us without allowing anybody to have access to it except you”
Hon Akinwemimo however admonished all the youths in the state not to forment trouble, urging them to be law abiding before, during and after the July 16 election as the incumbent administration in the state would continue to search for their betterment in all ramifications.
