The Olojudo of Ido Ayegunle, Oba Oluwatimileyin Oluyemi Ajayi, has issued a cautioning against buying land in the kingdom without royal consent.
The monarch in a public notice he personally signed and available to newsmen, stated that the directive is aimed at preventing land disputes, ensuring community peace, and preserving the sanctity of traditional authority over land matters in the kingdom.
The notice serves as a reminder to prospective land buyers, land agents, real estate investors, and developers to exercise caution when engaging in land transactions within the kingdom.
According to public notice “Do not buy land in Ido Ayegunle Without Royal Consent
“The palace of His Royal Highness, Oba Oluwatimileyin Oluyemi Ajayi, the Olojudo of Ido Ayegunle, wishes to inform the general public, land agents, real estate investors, developers, and all concerned parties.
“Any transaction conducted without clearance from the Olojudo’s Palace will be deemed invalid, illegal, and subject to future revocation. Individuals or groups involved in such unauthorized dealings risk legal and traditional sanctions.
“Members of the public are advised to verify the authenticity of any land sale in Ido Ayegunle through the palace before proceeding with payment or documentation.
“This notice is issued in the interest of peace, accountability, and the sustainable development of Ido Ayegunle.
“This applies to areas including Oropa, Sugbohun, Sanpa, Arefa, Odogbo, Onireke, Temidire, Igbagba, and Oko-Eji.
