“I must admit that I have the best job in the world since it allows me to travel to places like this. I am seriously considering staying here until the end of the month… Just don’t tell my team anything. (…) The short trip was full of quality rest and beautiful views. and delicious food,” reports the best rocket in the world.
However, the team would certainly not agree to such a long break from Iga’s training. Finally, next week the Pole will start competing in the WTA 250 tournament on hard courts in Warsaw in front of her home crowd . He is the face of this event.
32 singles players and 16 doubles pairs will compete in the capital. A total of 58 matches will be played.
– This is quite an important point in preparations for the US Open, also because it is played on the same surface as tournaments in the United States. We strive to have more such facilities. We practically do not have open hard courts in Poland. Legia courts are the only facility that can organize such a tournament – said Tomasz Świątek , the father of our star, on TVPSPORT.PL .
The broadcasts from Warsaw will be carried out by TVP Sport.
