Blaze Newz recalls that an federal high court in convicted the actress to six months imprisonment for spraying and stepping on the new naira notes at a social event in Lagos State.

When charged to court, Simi had pleaded not guilty but when evidence was presented later, she changed her stance and admitted her guilt to the court.
This was released in a report culled by the EFCC and they charged her with 6 months imprisonment or an option of N300,000 fine.
