The Northern Caucus of the House of Representatives led by the Deputy Speaker, Hon Ahmed Idris Wase, visited the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in London on Nigeria’s 61 independence day anniversary.
Daily Trust gathered from impeccable sources at the APC National Secretariat that the Representatives of the State Caucuses from the North East, North West and North Central geo-political zones were part of the delegation.
Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi had earlier visited the ailing former governor of Lagos State in London.
Tinubu is said to have undergone surgery in London, where he is still recuperating.
The Director Media and Publicity of the Tinubu Support Group, Tosin Adeyanju, confirmed to our correspondent that the Caucus visited Tinubu in London.
