A member staff of the Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency Of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and Business expert, Mr. Adedamola Esan has advised entrepreneurs to identify business opportunities in their area in other to add value to the economy of the country.
Esan disclosed this at the 2022 entrepreneurship development training programme organized by Industrial Training Fund in Collaboration with SMEDAN on Thursday, Osogbo, Osun state capital.
He charged them to create wealth from the opportunities of business in their locality.
Esan said that to grow in business there is needs to be resilient to identify business opportunity that exists in the environment.
He further said that the training of the entrepreneur will assist the beneficiaries to stand out in the six months, one year down the line.
According to him, “We thank God for this programme, on behalf of our director general Mr. Wale Fasanya Director General of SMEDAN, we thank God for this 2022 industrial training fund and SMEDAN NSTP program.
“This entrepreneurship training was brought about after the three months vocational training by Industrial Training Fund (ITF) was necessary to train the 120 beneficiaries for this program, which enterpreneurship skills which will set them apart as the start their different businesses.
“They’ve been trained on different skills ranging from Hairdressing, Aluminium And Solar Panel Installation.
“We believe that this entrepreneurship training which is started Thursday and Friday will help them to able to establish their business properly to be equipped with all the entrepreneurship skills which they will need to grow their business to be able to assess funds, and able to market their products, and become proper entrepreneurs, which we have to succeed in their business.
“As they set out to their business in one year, two years from now, extension services will show that they’ll be able to contribute and eligible to have a source of livelihood, which will contribute to the growth and the product and growth of this country.” he said
