The Nigerian Police Force has posted CP Ojo Adekimi as the new Commissioner of Police to Kwara State Police Command, Ilorin.
The new police boss replaces Victor Olaiya who has been promoted to the rank of AIG and transferred to Abuja.
Ojo Adekimi who was previously the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of Operations in Kwara State Command is a dedicated Officer who has risen through the ranks with distinction.
Adekimi had served in various capacities, including as Assistant Commissioner of Police and Deputy Commissioner of Police, before being elevated to the rank of Commissioner of Police.
His dedication and service has earned him various recognitions.
Meanwhile, all the newly promoted AIG’s and CP’s will be decorated in Abuja on Tuesday next week by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
