Manchester United’s first two matches of the club’s four-game pre-season tour of the USA have sold out, with the last remaining tickets for fixtures in Houston and Las Vegas now on general sale.
Kicking off on Saturday at 22:00 BST, fans will travel to the sold-out MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, to see Erik ten Hag’s team take on old rivals Arsenal.
The highly-anticipated match will be the first time the two Premier League rivals will play in the US, providing the finale to a three-day stay in the famous city for the manager and his travelling squad.
United then move onto San Diego for another sold-out match, where the Reds will field a youth-focused side against AFC Wrexham in the Snapdragon Cup.
Held at the Snapdragon Stadium, tickets for the match sold out within days of it being announced with the help of Manchester United’s legendary former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, and Wrexham co-owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhanney.
Fans who have missed out on tickets to these two matches still have a chance to see the team perform Stateside, when they play Real Madrid in Houston on 26 July and Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas on 30 July.
United play Real Madrid at the NRG Stadium, Houston, as part of the Soccer Champions Tour exhibition series. United and Real Madrid are the most successful teams in England and Spain, respectively, with 55 league titles between them.
The last US meeting between the sides in 2014 was played in front of 109,318 fans at The Big House, Michigan – still the largest ever audience for a football match played on US soil.
The squad’s final tour match will be played at the newly-built Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas. Erik and the squad will be in the entertainment capital of the world for one night only, playing against Bundesliga side, Dortmund.
The last remaining tickets for United’s matches in Houston and Las Vegas are on general sale and can be purchased from Ticketmaster.
