Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, received praise as he was seen around the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos on an outreach to kids in the neighborhood, fulfilling his pledge of giving out 100 million naira for Christmas.
The singer had earlier, on Monday, December 11, promised to donate the sum of 100 million naira to kids in different parts of the country for Christmas.
While details of how the money would be distributed were not made available by the singer, he has been seen at various locations with his bodyguards in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Earlier, he revealed that he would begin the cash distribution in Surulere today.
However, evidence from videos gathered on social media showed the singer had visited both Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria, today.
