The National Association of Cooperative Registrars and Inspectors (NACRI), has commended the Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe for supporting the association.

The association made the commendation at its state chapter Annual General Meeting held in Osogbo, the state capital on Wednesday.

Speaking, the president of the association, Mr Elufidipe and Trade Union Congress Chairman, Comrade Bimbo Fasasi commended the state government for promoting and supporting cooperative societies in the state, saying no government has surpassed the achievements recorded by the Adeleke led administration on cooperative.

They urged the commissioner to continue the job he has been doing in the ministry, stressing that unprecedented developments have been happening in the cooperative societies.

The commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe assured NACRI of his support, adding that the state government would not relent in its effort to take the state to an enviable height. He said people of the state would continue to enjoy dividends of democracy through cooperative and empowerment programmes.

Also, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Honourable Durojaye Isaac said the state government has commenced the renovation of the Cooperative College, Ode-Omun, which in weeks time the school which has been abandoned for years by the past administrations would be opened for academic activities and resuscitate the economy of Ayedade Local Government Area especially Ode-Omun.

He therefore, urged people to support the present government of Ademola Adeleke with a view to enjoy more Democratic dividends.
