The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke for his exemplary commitment to youth empowerment and inclusivity in governance.

In a statement signed by Comrade Samson Ajasa Adeyemi, NANS National PRO, the association applauded Governor Adeleke’s decision to integrate student leaders into key roles in his administration.

The students body assured the Governor of its unwavering support in his endeavors aimed at advancing youth development and good governance in Osun State and beyond.

The statement read apart, “Governor Adeleke has distinguished himself among his peers by recognizing the potential and dynamism of young people, especially those within the student community, and offering them opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of Osun State. His decision to integrate vibrant student leaders into key roles in his administration is a reflection of his visionary leadership and dedication to fostering the next generation of leaders.

“We are particularly delighted to celebrate the recent appointment of Comrade Ojo Olamide Raymond as the Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization. This addition to the esteemed list of student representatives in Governor Adeleke’s government, which includes Funmisho Babarinde (SSA Renewable Energy), Comrade Seyi Bamidele (SSA Agriculture), Ebenezer Olusegun Ige (SSA Civil Society Engagement), Comrade Mojeed Oyeniyi (SA Youth Affairs), and Comrade Afolabi Saheed Sedorf (SA Agriculture), underscores the Governor’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity and progress.

“NANS sincerely commends His Excellency for standing out among Governors in Nigeria in promoting the inclusion of the student constituency in his government. This is a remarkable milestone that not only empowers young leaders but also sets a benchmark for youth-oriented governance across the nation.

“While we celebrate this laudable achievement, we charge Governor Adeleke to continue his noble efforts in empowering the youth, as we, like Oliver Twist, humbly ask for more.

“Once again, NANS stands firmly with His Excellency and assures him of our unwavering support in all his endeavors aimed at advancing the cause of youth development and good governance in Osun State and beyond.”
