An Osogbo based legal practitioner and Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) Osogbo branch Chairmanship Aspirant, Yemi Abiona Esq, has sought the support of the members of the association as the election holds tomorrow.
Abiona Canvassed votes of members in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
According to him, “I am a member of this great branch and I have served the branch and the Bar as a whole in one capacity or the other without any blemish.
“It is time to elect our executive members again as we do periodically, I have seen the need for a focused and purpose-driven leadership to continue in our branch as the gains of the past administrations cannot be overlooked.
“I believe there is still a need to continue and grow, as a result, I have once again decided to present myself to serve you as the Chairman of the branch for the next two years. I believe I have the required exposure, experience, and capacity to serve the branch, having served as the Assistant Secretary, the Secretary of the branch, and a past member of the National Executive Council of the Association.”
He promised to serve with honesty and ensure the continued growth of the branch while sustaining the gains of the past if elected as your Chairman.
“I humbly crave your support through your votes at the branch election coming up tomorrow, 26th June 2023” he added.
