The Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon Durojaye Isaac has called Nigerians to continue to pray for the leaders of the country with a view to reap dividends of democracy in this new year 2024.

Durojaye in his New Year message, felicitated with Nigerians expressing gratitude to the people of the State for being supportive to the present administration in the state since its inception, promising that better days are ahead of them in Year 2024 and beyond.

The Special Adviser said the administration would continue to strive hard and diligently to lay the bricks that will take the state to the desired heights of economic consolidation in Year 2024.

Durojaye also reiterated the People’s Democratic Party led administration determination to enhance the welfare and standard of living of the citizens in the state.

He enjoined Nigerians, particularly the residents of the State to exude and maintain the fundamentals of peace, hard work, honesty, resourcefulness and selflessness that have earned the State laurels as a people and a State.

He said: “Your support and prayers during Adeleke’s first year in office stabilised the administration and gave the state goverment the confidence to trudge on. Together, we stood to surmount the challenges. Words are inadequate to express my heartfelt to Adeleke’s dynasty, my political group.

“The state government is resolved to serve you better this new year when the administration’s economic plans would have started yielding dividends. The Adeleke’s administration has demonstrated to the nation and the world that the state is a peaceful and enterprising State”, he said.

“I admonish you, therefore, to continue to exude and maintain the good virtues of fundamentals of peace, hard work, honesty, resourcefulness and selflessness that have earned Osun laurels as a people and a State.

“We solicit your continued support and prayers for our leaders at all levels as we enter this year 2024. I pray that the good Lord will continue to bless you, guide and guard you and your family, and grant you blessings throughout the New Year.

He urged Nigerians to continue to keep hope alive and faith in the goverment of Adeleke as more dividends of democracy are awaiting the citizenry

“I wish you all a peaceful and prosperous Year 2024. May God continue to keep and bless Osun State and Nigeria”.
