Nick Kyrgios called Carlos Alcaraz “a force” and asked the 20-year-old Spaniard if he is willing to an exhibition match in Spain next year. Alcaraz, 20, is off to an astonishing start to his career as the 20-year-old is already a two-time Grand Slam champion and also has five Masters titles in his collection.

Also, Alcaraz is ranked at No 1 in the world – the ranking he first achieved after the 2022 US Open. On his Instagram, Kyrgios answered some fan questions and one fan asked him about Alcaraz.”He is a force for sure. I would of loved to see how it would of gone down last year when I was healthy and playing lights out.

@carlitosalcarazz what about next year in your town we do an exhibition?” Kyrgios wrote.

Kyrgios praises Alcaraz again
After missing the entire first five months of the season due to knee surgery, Kyrgios kicked off his 2023 season in June in Stuttgart.

In Stuttgart, Kyrgios was asked about Alcaraz’s stunning rise. “Seeing what Carlos put together in such a short period of time is nuts. He’s got so much discipline and desire to do well, but he’s got that showman about him, which I like.

He loves getting the crowd involved and people chanting his name, which is pretty cool,” Kyrgios said of Alcaraz in June.Meanwhile, Kyrgios is again sidelined. After missing Wimbledon due to a wrist ligament injury, Kyrgios also delayed the start of his summer on hard courts.

This week, Kyrgios announced his withdrawal from the Citi Open in Washington, which takes place next week. After a career-best season in 2022, the 2023 season has been extremely difficult and challenging for Kyrgios. Kyrgios’ next hope remains that he will be able to play in early August at the Masters events in Toronto and Cincinnati.
